- Q1) Could you please tell us a bit about yourself and what you do at Poloniex?
My name is Kashif Syed and i’ the Growth Manager at Poloniex. I have been working in the crypto space since like Early 2017 and am mostly into Finance and cryptos.
I look after the Indian region and pretty much everything here, starting with Marketing, PR and other partnerships as well.
- Q2) What are the competitive advantages of Poloniex compared to its competitors?
So, yeah we have a flexible and easy-to-use trading system. As of now, we have both spot and futures trading platforms.
Spot is something you all might know its a simple buy/sell marketplace. But in Futures you can have a leverage of up to 50x.
In limit order section we have like a unique feature called post-only mode, if you enable that you only have to pay a maker fee of 7 times less fee than the taker.
We stand unique from other exchanges at the KYC point. If you just signup on the poloniex platform with email, you will be able to withdraw up to 10,000$ daily, this is level 1
From level2 we ask for the documentation.
- Q3) Can you share some of Poloniex’s key milestones in development?
Definitely, from the past six months, we are rapidly expanding in different regions, Starting APAC, Latam, Mena, CIS & GC etc.,
TO boost this we have also started a POLONIEX GLOBAL TOUR and hosted events in Malaysia, Vietnam and India as well.
Not only this we have also launched out NEW TRADING SYSTEM on 1st August 2022. So these are the couple of milestones that we have come accomplieshed.
But yeah for the future, we have a good roadmap we are planning to bring many changes in NTS and support new projects and partnering more regional firms to be able to serve our audience in different regions.
- Q4) Can you share with us your domestic and global expansion plans?
Yeah, like i said we are expanding in different regions like APAC, Latam, Mena, CIS & GC.
Not just expanding we are globally hiring talents in these regions, you can check on our portals and join hands wiith us.
But yeah to be precise, we are reaching out to different countries and tapping the crypto audience through different events Globally.
Talking about the regional expansion, we are always looking for projects with good support in different regions, lets talk about polygon from India, we have Matic listed on our platform. So we are looking for these kind of projetcs with in the space and also we are partnering with WEB3 communities as well.

- Q1) You mentioned that Poloniex is a one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchange, Howver Is Poloniex friendly for beginners, or is it only for professional traders? How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users without any technical knowledge and with users outside the crypto space?
No, we are open to both beginners and professionals.
For beginners, we are the simplest and easiest platform available. Beginners can start with Spot trading you can buy cryptos through a Credit card or simplex.
For professionals, we have different options and a varieity of options where a trader cam track the chart easily and through our candlesticks/graph, they can mark different trends.
If you are easy with futures as well, we have a leverage of 50x you can enjoy that too. But for beginners, leverage trading is something we would not suggest. But once they get experience they can try that too
- Q2) Permission to ask, , there’s a lot about hacking and bugs on the trading platform, does Poloniex help with fund reversal if an account loses funds and something goes wrong on the site?
It’s a great question!
yes, at first as I mentioned we have launched our New Trading System. Through we have made many changes on the back end.
We now have different micro-services like different data servers, where any time of data can’t be tampered and it’s very much tough to get hacked or face any attack.
But yeah we have always stood with the community in past and in future as well, if there is any issue we make sure to support our community and our users.
We are not just poloniex, now we are backed by a great ecosystem which is TRON.
- Q3) Does Poloniex require KYC for buying/Selling? How about stacking?
Yeah, we are a KYC Compliant exchange but we stand unique at this point from other exchanges.
So, for the 1st level of KYC we just ask for the email and once you signup you will be able to withdrawal upto $10,000 daily.
From the LEVEL2 KYC we ask for idenitity to co-up with AML process and make sure we don’t offer any fraudulant transactions on our platform, and from level 2 you are open to withdrwal $50,000+ daily.
Talking about the staking, we have the unique Auto-staking facility for TRON ecosystem tokens like TRON, USDD, ATOM etc.,
You just have to hold money in the wallet and no need to stake, we will reward Auto-staking rewards every 24hrs in your wallet and you are open to withdrawal funds anytime.
- Q4) So are there reward programs for Poloniex users? And what other programs do you offer to your community: a loyalty program, an Ambassador program or a referral program?
oh yeah, we have a referral program for our users.
We offer up to 60% Commission on your referrals. we have like different tiers of referrals starting with
1. Rocket scientist - <5 referrals - 20% Commission
2. Moon Explorer - <20 referrals - 30%comission
3. Mars adventurer - <50 referrals - 50% commission
4. Sun Captain - <60 referrals - 60%comissionWe also have special rewards for the sun Captian tier as well.

- Q1) Security and user interface are the most important aspect that users see on a platform. How has your Project worked on this? Is platform suitable for newbies in the crypto world?
Yes, previously we use to have a monolithic kind of platform which is a single server where you dump all the data.
But now we have micro-services, where data is stored in different servers and data sets. It’s more secure now, and our security team also takes care of threats and phishing sites which are targeted through social media or other platforms.
That’s how we are a secure and reliable platform.
- Q2) Are you a global project or local project? At present, which market are you focus on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners?
We are globally open to our audience, but not for the US region and the regions where cryptos are restricted completetly.
- Q3) How many team members do you have? Do they have enough experience in the blockchain field? Do they have any experience on working in crypto and non-crypto project?
we are a team of over 500 sitting globally, and we are expanded into different regions.

- Q4) Can you share Your opinion about Defi & NFT ? What makes your NFTs rate and special?
We have a sister company under Tron Eco-system which is APENFT you can check on our platform.
- Q5) Can you explain how is your Tokenomics Distribution? How many tokens Will be minted ? And How many tokens Will be locked by the team?
We don’t have a Token yet, but we support different projects and communities who have a great support and demand in the crypto space! Also the tokenomics!
